Macmillan Explorers Phonics - level 1: Daisy is Ill

In the first story, Daisy the Dinosaur is ill. Mum and Danny try to make her feel better. In the second story, Daisy and Danny play with their friends in the pool, but there is a problem.

"The Explorers Phonics" bring first language teaching methods to reading lessons in international classrooms. They focus on how reading works, so children are able to read new texts and pronounce new words more easily. "The Explorers Phonics" complement the "Macmillan English Explorers" and can also be used alongside any other reading program.

"Macmillan Explorers" is an eight-level reading scheme written specifically for young learners of English. Informed by the National Literacy Strategy and by teaching methodology for first language speakers of English, "Macmillan Explorers" is supported by an understanding of the needs of young learners and teachers of English.
