Pendant les dernieres annees, un grand bruit a ete souleve par le nom de Perperikon, se trouvant sur la Peninsule balkanique, au Sud de la Bulgarie, a 20 km a Nord-Est de la ville de Kardjali au sein des Rhodopes Orientales. En 2000, c "etait encore un petit sommet rocheux, couvert par des broussailles epineuses et des ronces. Ici et la, des vestiges de murailles s"erigeaient et il etait possible de voir des tailles profondes dans les roches, laissees par des cultures anciennes disparues. During the last few years, the name of Perperikon, situated in the Balkan Peninsula in the southern part of Bulgaria at some 20 km to the northeast of the town of Kardzhali, in the wilderness of the Eastern Rodop Mountains made quite a stir.
