The Flash Reading Scheme provides a stimulating yet structured approach to developing reading skills. The stories in Level Three of the Flash Reading Scheme are exciting and fun to read. Whilst the
text continues to match the illustrations carefully, both pictures and words contain inferred meaning making them more humorous and interesting to read.
Children will love predicting what is going to happen next to the mischievous characters. At this level the sentence structure used is more complex but continues 10 be carefully controlled and key phrases and words are still repealed to allow children to become easily familiar with them.
The six books in this volume should be shared with an adult and are designed to be read in any order. As with Level One and Two of the scheme, mischievous Tiger continues to hide amongst the pages of each book in Level Three and every child will be eager to find him.
At the front of each book in Level Three you will find simple advice for parents on how to encourage their child to interpret
the illustrations and predict what is going to happen next. On the back cover of each book the activities become more complex, teaching children to recognise phonic blends and rhyming patterns
in words.
