Помагалото е насочено към постигане на ниво А2.1 по Общоевропейската езикова рамка за владеене на български като втори език. В него се затвърдяват и надграждат знанията и уменията, усвоени в 1. и 2. клас. Учебните задачи са свързани с езикови компетентности, съответстващи на темите и очакваните резултати, посочени в първия модул на учебната програма. Застъпени са и упражнителни уроци за доразвиване на уменията за правилна употреба на българския език.
